Spark Change Summit 2022

The third annual Spark Change Summit 2022 featured award-winning producers, writers, directors, and creatives focused on entertainment that raises awareness, changes behavior, influences policy and catalyzes movements. Presented by Creative Visions, The Skoll Center for Social Impact Entertainment at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and The Promise Institute for Human Rights at UCLA's School of Law, the 2022 Summit offered a deep dive into the creation of social impact entertainment projects, campaigns, and the movements they spark. The Summit showcased the unparalleled power of story and the storyteller - and the potential to make shift happen in the world.

Skoll Center for Social Impact Entertainment

The Skoll Center for Social Impact Entertainment at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television (Skoll Center for SIE) is the first of its kind dedicated solely to advancing the power of entertainment and performing arts to inspire social change.

Creative Visions Foundation

The Promise Institute for Human Rights is the center of human rights education, research and advocacy at UCLA. They focus on the intersection of human rights and five thematic areas: race and Indigeneity, migration, the environment, technology and accountability.

Creative Visions Foundation

Creative Visions Foundation is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Dan Eldon by supporting and empowering creative impact media worldwide. Its focus is on producing content through media and the arts that leads to civic engagement and sparks positive social change, particularly in the areas of human rights, women’s and girls’ empowerment, the environment, and youth and education. At a time of unprecedented turmoil, Creative Visions seeks to expand its already existing programs to inspire and empower people to engage in the issues that impact our volatile world. Creative Visions believes in the power of storytelling to influence hearts and minds, and in the human inclination to respond to the needs of others. This defines creative activism.
